Lydia has taken Gymnastics classes since she was 18 months old. More recently, she had asked to take ballet classes. Wanting her to experience opportunities that were of interest to her, we enrolled her in dance class at Kim's Academy of Dance. This dance studio is a little girls dream. The pale pink walls are adorned with ballet and tutu accessories. The changing rooms feature hot pink and zebra decor and ballet and tap shoes are mandatory wardrobe needs.
Lydia's class is comprised of an hour long session focused on tap and ballet. A friend from preschool, Mehar, is in her class and keeps Lydia eager and excited to come each week. Lydia's laser beam focus on her teachers is evidence that she's enjoying her learning each week. She's able to explain what moves they learn and demonstrate them for you.

She is signed up for 30 weeks of class with a concluding recital in the spring. I am eager to see her grow, develop and learn throughout the year in dance!
