In her first attempt at bowling, Lydia scored a staggering 104! Impressive for a 2 year old, I know! What may be more impressive is her determination to carry the 6 and 8 pound balls on her own to the alley, place it on the chute, and push it independently.

We took Lydia to the bowling alley this afternoon as an event sponsored by the Children's Hospital of Illinois' advocacy board that Brett and I serve on. Lydia is tenacious and I had no doubt that her determination and focus would meld with bowling. She loved it!

We had another wonderful weekend that had us going to toddler cooking class, 'swimming' in the neighbors' pool, mini-golfing an adult mini-golf outing, and bowling and attending sign language class this morning.
