The Leprechaun visited Lydia this St. Patrick's Day. With a room full of green balloons, Lydia woke up to a scavenger hunt that led her through the house looking for shamrocks and green prizes that include green play doh, moon doh, beads, clothes, and a chair. She read St. Patrick's Day inspired books, ate green foods, played with green toys, and wore green clothes. The day's highlight was a parade in downtown Cedar Rapids. Despite the crowded streets, we were able to find a prime location in which Lydia could view the nearly 2 hour long parade. She received candy, beads, and other parade fare. We loved celebrating the day with our little leprechaun.
