Gays Mills

We took our first annual apple orchard pilgrimage to Gays Mills. This area was a childhood destination for Brett and his family. We are happy to extend this Ellis tradition to Lydia. Her first adventure to Gays Mills was a success. We stayed on a home on the Mississippi River and drove through the country side through acres of apple orchards and breathtaking views of the autumn leaves. Our journey took us to more than 6 apple orchards where we indulged in apple cider, apple doughnuts, and apple fritters. We purchased pumpkins, homemade salsa, and other apple treats. Lydia was able to play with llamas, rabbits, goats, miniature horses, and more. The weather was a perfect combination of clear skies and cool temperatures. The only downside of the whole weekend was how fast it seemed to go by. It seemed like Sunday came fast and it was time to bid adieu to the Ellis Family and the beautiful scenery.
