We are loving the last few evenings of summer vacation and included a Bradley Braves adventure at Hickory Grove Park. As a community outreach program, the coaches and players of several of the BU athletic teams hosted an evening get together. Players were available for autographs, kids were able to play, and the coaches spoke about the upcoming season. Lydia loved playing on the playground, eating popcorn, and enjoying the fresh air.
An event is always more fun when you are the recipient of a door prize. Both Lydia and Brett were winners in this evening's raffle. Lydia won a pair of autographed balls from the Men's Basketball Team and Women's Volleyball Team. Brett won a pair of Soccer season tickets! I walked away with a happy toddler and enthusiastic husband.
