Little Bumblebee

Who knew that my little fish would look so cute as a little bumblebee? I found this swimsuit, hat, and sandals at Gymboree on sale and had to get it for Lydia. She loves pointing at her hat and sandals saying BEE, BEE, BEEEEEE! We have been working with her on keeping hats on in the sun to protect her from the UV Rays. She did well with her other hat and we were excited when she kept her bee hat on the entire afternoon as well. So far, we are loving summer, the pool, and spending the time together. We have done lots of story times, afternoons at the pool, and shopping trips to target. Another favorite trip of ours is to go to Barnes and Noble to play with their train table and read books. This past week, Oma visited to help out while Brett was in Atlanta for work. Lydia spent the mornings with Oma while I went to class. Then we did activities together in the evenings. That consisted of sign language class, the pool, the zoo, or shopping. We have some fun trips planned that we know will bring more memories and fun!
