Easter Egg Hunt #1: Guthridge Park
Lydia mastered Easter Egg Hunting through intense practice drills at home.... Just kidding. She was a natural and she was able to get lots of practice at hunting during the Easter Season. Her first official, out in public, here we go a hunting hunt, was at Guthridge Park in Iowa. In a mass exodus of kids 0-3 years of age, Lydia ran for eggs and diligently placed them in her "CHICKS RULE" Easter Bucket that featured a yellow chick with a princess crown. She was not phased by the crowds, but rather, thrived on the action! I was so happy that the organizers of the hunt accounted for the "little ones" and had adequate eggs for every child to hunt for some. Lydia wasn't as interested as to what was inside her eggs until we got back to the car. It was so fun to watch her through her first official Easter Egg Hunt! Way to go Lyds!
