Christmas Day
Christmas Day is a continuation of blessings and good fortune for our family as we celebrate with Brett's mom's side in Cedar Rapids at the Ellis homestead. Much work and preparation goes into the occasion, and Brett's parents never disappoint a crowd. The food and atmosphere was perfect! We enjoyed delicious appetizers prior to a wonderful traditional ham dinner. I was honored to say grace prior to eating. In preparation for the blessing, I had the opportunity to truly reflect on all the wonderful blessings in my life. To have a loving husband, healthy and beautiful daughter, supportive family, education, job, and home are not gifts I take for granted.
