Joy in the Simple Things

We find joy in the simple things, Like:

-watching Lydia toddle around the house and make laps between the kitchen, dining room, and living room.

-Drinking a cup of hot coffee on a cool morning while Lydia laughs and giggles at her toy plates.

-Having Lydia "hug" everything, even the large plastic pumpkin in the living room. (see picture below)

-Quiet breakfasts together at the table (and watching Lydia sign more, more, more until she is "all done."

-Cuddling under the covers and playing peek-a-boo

-Expecting more of a reaction with her toy playhouse in her play space, but realizing she is more interested in cheap plastic balls at this point.

-Loving a beautiful little girl more than words can say!
