Lydia has been spending the past three "work days" with Grandpa Pierce. I went back to work on Thursday and dropped her off with my dad as he finishes up at Shelly's house. Although it was difficult to look Lydia in the eyes as I said goodbye, she offered me a big smile and I couldn't help but feel even more love and adoration for my little girl. I know she is in good hands during the day, but I do miss her. I love my job and my days go fast, but I am always eager to get home to my little sunshine!
