Short update tonight as I am wiped! My 20 week belly is ever expanding. 
I went shopping this weekend and Pier 1 had some great items for the nursery. I bought the brown polka dot window panels in the picture as well as a cute green shag rug for the front of the crib. Brett and I also bought the mattress for the crib. I did a lot of research on the mattress and the Baby Bargains book I was recommended to buy is a god send. The mattress we ended up buying was rated an A in the book as well as one of their top three choices. Seeing as how there are TONS of mattresses out there- I think we did a good job selecting one for the little one. I put it in the crib with the sheet on it "to see how it all looks" together, but won't take the plastic wrap off until July or so when I wash the sheets and get the room all ready to go for a sleeping baby. I am quite in love with my green shag rug and will have to take a picture of that an upload it as well. I am still back and forth on the painting of the nursery. From the way it looks with the window panels and bedding all in- I may not have to do any painting because the yellow looks really pretty.
We go back in 11 days to Dr. Luan for our "big ultrasound." No more guessing if it is Lydia or Carter- or going with the Dr.'s "hunch." We will know for sure.... I can't wait to see a 21 week sono of the little one.

The curtains are really cute! You guys have done so much already I personally love the yellow walls and I would keep it the same (goes good with your bedding). Yellow is a good baby room color and very neutral for down the road. Can't wait to see the shag rug!
Where and what type of mattress did you get? We haven't even thought about that yet but prob should soon. I also bought that Baby Bargain book but haven't looked at it yet.Look forward to hearing confirmation on April 2nd!!! Definitely text me after yur appt.
Mandy we have the same doctor! I saw Dr. Luan last year when I was pg with Hailey!! He rocks! Dr. B is super sweet too :) How are you doing? Hope all is well!
I can't wait to see the final pictures of the baby room!! I got the Baby Bargain book from Nick during my 2nd month of pregnancy...he thought it was a good idea or else I would only shop by looks and go baby shopping crazy ;-)
Did you get your mattress at Babies R us? We registered for ours there and it was an A according to the book too! Can't wait to get it or eventually buy it ourselves. =) You look great! can't wait to hear if it is a Lydia or a Carter. Love those names!
