Lydia will be returning to Northminster Learning Center this fall as a student of the Discovery Preschool Program. The program is a mixed-age class in which Lydia will be one of the younger children.
Brett took Lydia to the preschool visit day on Thursday. I was able to join them for about 20 minutes to visit with the staff and see Lydia in her new environment. She was at home with the new classroom and surroundings. Since the summer ended, Lydia continuously asks about going back to school and can hardly wait. Her backpack and lunch bag have arrived and she is ready to go.
She will officially go on Tuesday for her first whole day. I can hardly comprehend the fact that she is old enough to go to full-day preschool and is transitioning from in-home day care with Erin.
