Our Little Turkey
As we prepare to celebrate our 2nd Thanksgiving with Lydia, we realize that we have much to be thankful for. As a result for recent news of a friends' delivery of a son at 28 weeks gestation and loss of him 2 days later and a 2nd friends' recent miscarriage, we don't take lightly that fact that we feel extremely blessed to have Lydia as a part of our lives. We are constantly amazed by the joy and happiness she has brought us since her arrival. Each day brings a new reason to laugh and smile. We are also thankful for our jobs and work success. We are thankful a house that we have been able to make into a home with memories that will continue to brighten even rainy days. We are thankful for supportive families that support and encourage us along our journey as new parents and young adults. We are thankful for our friends and their friendships. We are thankful for the freedoms that have been bestowed upon us by the men and women that earn that freedom for us. We are thankful for the opportunities to provide our daughter with engaging and supportive childcare and activities in the area so that she can explore the world around us. We are thankful to live in a community that affords us the opportunity to be connected to the community and a community that offers us more than we can offer it. We are thankful for a faith and love for God to continue to Bless us during this holiday season.
