Lydia's Baptism

Lydia was baptized this weekend at First Presbyterian Church. She was an absolute angel in her gown. Even more importantly, she accepted her baptism like an angel. She behaved perfectly and we were so proud of her. The baptism occurred during the 11am service. The minister blessed her and the congregation sang "Hymn #498, Child of Blessing, Child of Promise." After being presented to the congregation, she was paraded down the aisle with the minister and did well in his arms. It was a small, but beautiful ceremony.
