Lydia wore her "Cutest Pumpkin In the Patch" shirt and looked adorable in her new orange polka dot socks and shoes. We were able to ride a tractor to the fields, choose delicious apples from the trees and pumpkins from the vines before returning to the barn to select some delicious carmel apples and apple doughnuts! It was a perfect afternoon to spend with the Ellises before we returned back to Peoria after Lydia's baptism weekend.

Apple Orchard
Family tradition for me included annual trips to an apple orchard or pumpkin patch. In an effort to maintain that tradition with Lydia, we ventured to Wilson's Orchard in Iowa City, Iowa. We had a wonderful time choosing pumpkins and apples. To my surprise, Lydia LOVED apples. We gave her a fresh apple and she spent the entire time eating it on the tractor ride. I was even more surprised to see the result of what happens when Lydia eats an entire apple in her diaper today.
