We were fortunate to attend the Iowa Game on Saturday in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes easily rolled over the Iowa State Cyclones. Lydia and I tailgated with the Ellises, but did not go to the game. She was a hit in her Hawkeye Mobile as we wheeled her from our car to our tailgate locations. She was well-behaved and had lots of energy left to attend the Iowa Children's Museum and Coralville Mall and playspace during the game. After a great afternoon at the mall and museum, we met up with the game goers and enjoyed a celebration dinner at The FieldHouse in Cedar Rapids. Lydia had a cheese quesadilla. She loved the pickles from Oma's plate too!
Attending the games and traveling has become more fun. We have learned what we need to bring to keep Lydia happy and it has been a change knowing that she can eat mostly what we eat. She has fun and loves seeing all the sights, sounds, and excitement!
