We spent the weekend with a "Stay-Cation" here in Peoria. Gary, Denise, and Tyler visited Friday night. The boys spent the evening volunteering at the Erin Feis, and the girls spent the night relaxing in a hotel room at the Embassy Suites. We enjoyed a relaxing Saturday morning with a great breakfast, visit to the Riverfront Market, and an afternoon of shopping. Saturday night we relaxed on the veranda overlooking the Illinois River at the Embassy and enjoyed some quiet background music performed by a solo musician while drinking some delicious summer cocktails! This morning we were able to enjoy another delicious and a swim in the pool before checking out and returning home where we briefly did a few projects before the Ellises had to head home. We enjoyed a quiet evening home. We grilled chicken and salmon kabobs. Lydia loves grilling out on the deck!
We just had to get a picture of all of Lydia's curls. Her hair has gotten so think and curls in the back! It is just so cute!
