Touch a Truck

I had Friday off! Lydia and I spent the morning walking around to the garage sales in our subdivision. After a nap, Lydia and I went to the Touch-A-Truck program that was taking place at Peoria Stadium. Junior League has done something similar, so I was excited to see this one. In a nutshell, it is a variety of trucks and vehicles that kids can get in and check out. There were firetrucks, police cars, buses, bulldozers, construction vehicles, and much more! In addition, there was a DJ playing kids music, a clown, other entertainment, and local agency booths. Lydia liked the firetruck and police car the best! She smiled at the sirens and loved seeing all the kids! We had such a wonderful afternoon together!
