20 Weeks
20 Weeks Old
Lydia had a very busy week this week. We enjoyed Baby Signing Time on Tuesday night where we learned signs for daily living (diaper, more, eat, ect) and our favorite animals (frog, bird, fish, horse, dog, cat, ect). We have the DVD with several songs and videos of the signs. Lydia watches it a couple times a week and we use the signs when we are interacting with her. We are working on creating a few books for her to practice these signs. We will make a "My Family Book" of pictures of her family members with the word and corresponding sign. We are also making a "My Signing Book" that will have pictures, the word, and sign for eat, drink, milk, cereal, diaper, ect.

On Wednesday, Lydia came with me to my Teacher Sneaky Santa Reveal party... She was decked out in her favorite pink bow (shown above) and super cute puffer vest. Later that night, we hosted book club and Lydia got to play with Taylor! Brett was able to enjoy the BU game despite the loss! Thursday was another busy day and Lydia helped me host the PlayHouse Committee meeting at our house. We enjoyed some tasty treats during our meeting. Brett went to the Creve Coeur Club Holiday Party during our meeting.
Friday was the Wilder Waite Holiday Party at the Junior League House. Lydia came to help with the set-up, but then stayed home with Alison for a while before Uncle Burliss and Grandma and Grandpa came over. The party was a success and I think everyone had a great time. Saturday was our 3rd Annual Christmas Party. We had nearly 30 people to our house. The drinks and food added to the fun of the Karaoke. There were also lots of babies. Baby Taylor, Landon, and Aiden all came to play for awhile.
