One Day Old
Lydia spent today at OSF getting the antibiotics and medication she needs to fight off any infections. I spent the day at Proctor and thus only got to see her for one hour. Lydia was kept company by her daddy, grandma, and grandpa. She has been doing great and has not had any significant reactions to infection. Her levels are all evening out and she continues to thrive.
I anticipate being discharged (early) tomorrow so that I can meet up with Lydia at OSF. Luckily, they have unlimited visiting hours in the NICU and I will be able to spend some much needed time with my little one. I still have to finish three more doses of antibiotics through an IV. As long as I get those completed by tomorrow and my blood work comes back ok, I will be discharged.The Gordon's and Angie stopped by to pay a visit today. We also received quite a variety of beautiful flowers from family members.

Congratulations Mandy and Brett!!! I can't believe she's finally here!!!!! I saw in facebook that you got to take her home...yay!
