And She's Off....

Lydia enjoyed her second week of running club in the slightly cooler, but equally enjoyable weather. In her pink running suit, Lydia treked around the running trail before needing some support and encouragement from mommy and daddy. Around the final turn, Lydia sped off and made it down the chute to finish triumphantly. The grin she gets on her face as she runs with her peers is priceless. Watching her stretch before beginning the races is also memorable. She is so determined and focused! This week she ran 1/4 mile in roughly 5 minutes and earned her 2nd ribbon, an orange one! Not only do we enjoy the running and exercise component of the evening, but we see lots of Lydia's and our friends that are also out to enjoy the weather and activities.
