Lydia sported her new outfit that my mom had sewn for her. We had to add leggings and a long-sleeved onesie underneath in the early morning, but she slowly shed her layers and it became warmer in the afternoon.

Hawkeye Football Game #1
There's something about fall that wouldn't be complete with out Hawkeye Football and cooler weather. We were able to enjoy both this weekend when we visited the Ellises back in Iowa. Lydia geared up for the game in her Hawkeye outfits and in her Hawk Mobile on Friday Night. The Grants were able to join us and we had a great time.
We weren't able to tailgate for as long as we would have liked to, but anymore tailgating would have exhausted the babies more than they already were once Jeff, Angie, Brett and I headed into the game and Oma and Opa took the kids on a walk and to Aunt Brittany's.

Our excitement didn't stop after the Hawkeye victory. Later that night, we visited "The Farm" for a fishfry and bonfire. This quiet area is located several miles off any major highway and is a tranquil piece of property that was made into an exciting venue as several family members and their friends camped out. We didn't camp out, but enjoyed the fish fry. Lydia made a new friend, and was good about giving him hugs!
After spending the day at the ICM and shopping at Coralville, we finally got home tonight about 7:40. Lydia was a little off her schedule and didn't want to go to sleep until 9pm. She slept in today until 9:30! She must have been tired! I had to take a picture of her in her new fall PJs. I had to get this romper when I saw it at Old Navy because it cracked me up. Stay tuned for pictures of Lydia's new hats.... I have some adorable ones that I bought at a farmer's market and at Gymboree...
