Parade... Attempted

We had some fantastic weekend plans. We started out on Saturday at the Chilicothe Claude Ellen Days Parade. The parade started, the honorary color guard marched past us, the high school band played one song, and then the skies opened and it POURED! Lydia and I were confined to a tiny store front under an awning while Brett ran to get the car and pick us up. 10 minutes before it started to rain, it was sunny and we were able to capture a photograph.
Since the rain ruined that plan, we ran some errands. Saturday night we enjoyed dinner on the deck. Lydia had some marinated chicken breasts, green beans, and bananas. She loves meal time!

Today, we were planning on going to a Children's Hospital Event in which we were going to do mini-golf and some other kid friendly events, but it was canceled due to inclement weather! All we have to say is "RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY!!!!" We just want to go out and play! We have spent a lot of time indoors playing and cleaning, but we wish we could enjoy the summer weekends when Brett is home and we can do things as a family!
