Reading

Lydia loves to read and loves books! Denise took Lydia to Borders' story time this morning. In a nutshell, it was determined that Borders in Peoria provides a better storytime experience than that of Barnes and Noble. Denise said the overall presentation of the books as well as activities provided kids with a more authentic learning experience! I can't wait to take Lydia myself on Tuesdays throughout the summer!

Today, Lydia also took a short trip with us to Lowe's to pick up some last minute items for the Easter Egg Hunt (wooden stakes and tape to section of the age groups). We stopped by the Metro Center and perused Abe's, Hallmark, and JoAnn Fabric. I bought Lydia the cutest socks and bow at Hallmark. I worked on purchasing some items at JoAnn Fabric for me to make her Easter Basket as well as begin on her birthday banners, table runners, ect. Since I am using the zebra runners for a shower in April as well as for her birthday, I figured I should get a jump start on them.
