There are so many wonderful great things about being Lydia's mom. She is an absolute doll and I love her more everyday. It is fascinating to watch her take in the world around her and find pleasure in a simple toy or smile. One of my absolute greatest joys is watching her smile in the morning. Since I have gone back to work, her smiles in the morning when we are preparing for our day, give me energy and enthusiasm.

Going back to work was not as difficult as I imagined it would be. I do miss Lydia like crazy and call my dad to check on her twice during the day, but I have been so busy catching up on things at work and getting acquainted with my students, that my days go quickly and before I know it, I am back with Lydia! I am sure to reinforce how much I miss her and love her as soon as I get to see her again!

Lydia continues to do great at bathtime. We do the bathtime routine every other night (unless a poo explosion requires one in between). She loves the warmth of the tub, and the faucet that detaches from the base on our sink is our best friend when we rinse her off! Since she was a newborn, her skin is not as sensitive, but we continue to use the Aveeno baby products...

She fits into 6 month clothing now! She is growing so fast! I do love all the options for little girls clothes! She has a plethora of accessories for each outfit, but some of my favorite clothes are her comfy and cozy PJs.... We love to turn on the fire and just sit and cuddle!
