New Project

Ok, we weren't going to do it, but we decided now is the time... We are redoing the guest bathroom to become Lydia's bathroom... Now, if you know us- you also know that in the four years we have lived at our home- we have painted this bathroom two other times... I was partial to the apple green color until I got bored one winter evening and decided to go with khaki and merlot... Now the whole thing is a mess. Mostly because I am not patient enough to take my time to do it right the first time. I bet if you look behind the toilet, you will see all three colors; the original pink, the green, and the merlot. So, we hired a professional to come in and fix it all to make it cute and beautiful for Miss Lydia. The painter is going to sand down the walls, take off the baseboards, paint the walls, paint the ceiling, and repaint the baseboards before reattaching them... I can't wait to have a freshly painted bathroom again. We are going to go with a very neutral color- maybe even a bright white... I had an idea in my head, but can't find a shower curtain to match my idea- so I will continue the hunt. Target had a cute shower curtain in neutral colors, but I also like the idea of doing hot pink and green for Lydia... At any rate, the painter comes next Saturday, May 30th, so I will have some time afterwards to find what I want and get the bathroom baby ready: We all know that a little girl has to have her own bathroom! Where else are we going to put the baby tub and the adorable rubber ducky spout cover I purchased?!?! I will post before and after pictures when the bathroom is completed...
